Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rise in a temperature of drying air at an initial stage of drying.SOLUTION: The clothes dryer includes: a blower 7 for sending air to an air circulation path 9; a heat pump device 6; an exhaust port 11 for exhausting a part of circulation air from the air circulation path 9; an intake port 10 for introducing outside air to the air circulation path 9; an on-off valve 14 for opening and closing the intake port 10; drying-air temperature detecting means 12 for detecting a temperature of drying air after passing through the evaporator 4; outside-air temperature detecting means 15 for detecting a temperature of outside air taken through the intake port 10; and control means 16 for controlling a drive of the on-off valve 14. The control means 16 opens the on-off valve 14 to introduce outside air through the intake port 10 to the air circulation path 9, when the temperature of outside air detected by the outside-air temperature detecting means 15 is higher than the temperature of drying air after passing through the evaporator 4 at an initial stage of drying.
