Abstract:
To provide a clothing dryer that can, when objects to be dried such as clothing are in a smoldering state before resulting in a spontaneous ignition, eliminate the state in an early stage to further raise safety.SOLUTION: The clothing dryer 1 comprises: a drum 2 for accommodating objects to be dried S such as clothing; a motor 21 for a drum for rotating the drum 2; a heating part 3 for heating air; a fan 4 for supplying the air heated by the heating part 3 into the drum 2; a motor 41 for a fan for rotating the fan 4; and a control part 5 for controlling a drying operation. A detection part is provided for detecting a risk of a spontaneous ignition of objects to be dried S accommodated in the drum 2. The control part 5 further has a control structure that makes the fan 4 into a stop state and allows the drum 2 to perform an intermittent rotating operation so as to perform a beating operation in which objects to be dried S in the drum 2 is fell off downward from upward, when there is a risk of a spontaneous ignition of objects to be dried S based on a detected value from the detection part during a watching operation after a drying operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
