Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing treatment apparatus which is improved in the start-up of a power control device upon recovery from a power failure.SOLUTION: A power control device includes a main power supply circuit 45, an auxiliary power supply circuit 109, and a control unit 43 for executing a clothing treatment operation. The power control device performs control in such a way that: a CPU 22 outputs an instruction for switching between a standby power mode and a normal power mode according to a signal from the control unit 43. By an instruction for switching to the standby power mode, the CPU22 shuts off commercial power supply to the main power supply circuit 45 and, at the same time, shifts the CPU 22 itself to the standby power mode; and, due to current degradation in an auxiliary secondary winding 118 caused by current degradation in a secondary winding 117 of a transformer 115 of the auxiliary power supply circuit 109, an auxiliary power supply control IC 21 repeats the intermittent drive stop of the auxiliary power supply circuit 109. As a result of providing the power control device, upon recovery from a power failure, it is made possible to automatically restart a washing operation from a state during the power failure without waiting for an operation by a user, and it is made possible to reduce standby power after a normal washing operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
