Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing treatment apparatus including a lock mechanism having a structure capable of achieving an operation of releasing a lock by the lock mechanism and an operation of rotating a lid toward an open position in a series of operations.SOLUTION: The clothing treatment apparatus includes: a housing on which an opening for loading and unloading clothing is formed; a door body supported to be freely rotated between a closing position for closing the opening and an opening position for opening the opening; and a grip part to be used for rotating the door body between the closing position and the opening position. On the grip part, an exposed piece which appears on an outside surface of the housing in the closing position of the lid body is formed. The exposed piece extends outwardly from the vicinity of the outer periphery of the lid body.
