Abstract:
To provide a clutch apparatus which can transmit a power of one driving shaft to a single or several driven apparatus selected from a plurality of apparatus.
The same number of driving clutch plates 3 with that of wire ropes Wa-Wi which are wrapped integrally at predetermined spacing around each of a first and a second driving shafts J1, J2 are installed thereupon, and driven clutch plates 7 are mounted, on grooved drums 9 which are set rotatably against the each driving shaft J1, J2 and are arranged facing the driving clutch plates 3, movably in the direction of the axis of each driving shaft J1, J2, then the driving clutch plates 3 and the driven clutch plate 7 corresponding to the selected wire ropes Wa-Wi are engaged with each other.
