Title:
CMOS CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01243616
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix the maximum current that flows in a circuit by providing threshold adjusting diode that sets such voltage that makes an isolated switch between an input line and an output line be turned on and is higher than VDD and a constant current source. CONSTITUTION: After a P channel MOSFET transistor to which diode is connected is connected to an input line 18, a transistor 26 for P channel MOSFET type isolation follows and the gate of the transistor 26 is connected to a limiting voltage (VDD) line 16. A N channel transistor 28 is serially connected to the transistor 26, its gate is also connected to the line 16, and the source of the transistor 28 is connected to an output line 30 and also to a constant current source 32. When current that flows through the transistors 24, 26 and 28 increases and exceeds the value, a current generator can transmit, output voltage increases more than supply voltage. Thereby, the maximum current that flows in circuits can be fixed.
