Abstract:
To provide a process of converting waste plastic with petroleum raw material in catalytic cracking equipment, especially in fluid catalytic cracking equipment used in petroleum refinery, and a method and a hardware system for enabling conversion of the waste plastic to a fuel along with catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons.SOLUTION: The method of the invention is the method for co-treating all kinds of the waste plastic such as polyethylene-polypropylene multi-layer plastic containing polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene and metals and other plastic including metals with petroleum-derived raw materials such as reduced pressure light oil, reduced crude oil, and reduced pressure residue by the catalytic cracking equipment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
