Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated matter coated with a top coating layer formed on a base coating film having a surface of a metal substrate turned hydrophilic and enable formation of a uniform and solid top coating layer by making the surface of the metal substrate hydrophilic.
SOLUTION: A base coating layer containing photo-semiconductor is formed on a surface of a metal substrate, and a surface is made hydrophilic by light irradiation. At this time, deterioration of coating material and precipitation of metal ions can be prevented from occurring by controlling photooxidation and photoreduction reactions. By forming a top coating layer of a water-based paint on a surface of the base coating layer, a coated matter having a beautiful uniform and solid coating film is obtained. Because the top coating layer contains photo-semiconductor, the coated matter has a stain-resisting property and is easy to be cleaned.
