Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating agent for moistureproof coating, capable of forming a coated film excellent in moistureproofness, slip resistance and topcoating suitability on a paper substrate, by mixing an aqueous binder with a polyolefin emulsion. SOLUTION: An aqueous binder such as an aqueous acrylic emulsion in an amount of 100 pts.wt. of a solid content of the resin is mixed with 5-1,000 pts.wt., preferably 30-100 pts.wt. of the solid content of a polyolefin emulsion modified with a hydrophilic group to give the objective coating agent for moistureproof coating having a function capable of being processed with another coating agent after coating or impregnation with itself and drying. A paper substrate is coated with the coating agent for moistureproof coating to give a moistureproof coated paper, which is coated with a fixed coating agent to give a release paper having two coated layers.
