Abstract:
To supply a cardboard cocoon holder smoothly and securely without damaging the cardboard cocoon holder.SOLUTION: The cocoon processing apparatus 10 includes: a cocoon releasing mechanism 12 that releases a cocoon from a cardboard cocoon holder M; and a fluff removing mechanism 13 that removes a fluff attached to the cocoon released from the cardboard cocoon holder M by the cocoon releasing mechanism 12. The cocoon processing apparatus further includes an automatic supply mechanism 11 that continuously supplies the cardboard cocoon holder to the cocoon releasing device 12. The automatic supply mechanism 11 delivers a lowermost cardboard cocoon holder M among plurally stacked cardboard cocoon holders M by lifting other cardboard cocoon holders M than the lowermost cardboard cocoon holder M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
