Abstract:
To provide a coil element that can easily detect a short circuit of a coil.SOLUTION: A coil element includes a magnetic core and a coil. The coil is wound around the magnetic core. The coil includes a first winding and a second winding. The first winding is wound around the magnetic core with a plurality of turns in a first turn. The second winding is connected in series to the first winding, and wound around the magnetic core with a plurality of turns in a second turn following the first turn. The first and second windings are adjacent to each other for each turn. The coil element can easily detect a short circuit since the inductance changes greatly when the adjacent windings have a short circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
