Title:
COIL SPRING INSULATOR AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3687332
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil spring insulator which is in a structure capable of preventing its tip end part in the axial direction to be formed in an under-cut structure from being cracked and the like when it is manufactured using an external mold in a halfly split structure.
SOLUTION: An projected part in the axial direction to be turned out an under-cut structure, which is projected from a mounting seat part 44, is divided into three parts in the circumferential direction so as to be formed in a first through a third projected part 68 and 70 in the axial direction. In this case, the inner circumferential side corner parts of the opposite parts 68 and 70 in the circumferential directions of the projected parts 68 and 70 in the first and second axial directions, which are to be positioned at both of sides holding the parting line of the external mold, are formed into projection shaped curved surfaces 80 and 80 going around their inner sides in the circumferential direction.
