PURPOSE: To facilitate cooling or heating in a cold insulation box by means of cooling or heating with a flat guide plate, by inserting the flat guide plate, which projects from the floor of a vehicle or the like, into an inserting port formed at a side surface and a bottom surface of the portable cold insulation box.

CONSTITUTION: An inserting port into which a flat guide plate 7 is tightly inserted is formed at the side surface of a portable cold insulating box 1 provided with an insulated material. An inside of the inserting port is provided with an inside cover which is pressed against an inside edge of the inserting port by an action of a spring and the like. The guide plate 7 is conventionally foldable, and preferably it can be stored in a recessed part 11 formed on a floor, and the recessed part 11 is closed by a cover 12. An evaporator and a heater of a cooling system are integratedly built in the guide plate 7. After the guide plate 7 is inserted into the inserting port and the cold insulation box 1 is set, cold insulation or hot insulation is performed by operating one of pressure button switches 14-17.
