Abstract:
To provide a wiper device for a cold-rolled steel strip which suitably performs dewatering of a back face of a cold-rolled steel, and can reliably suppress occurrence of a rust and seizure of an oil content on the back face of the cold-rolled steel strip even if a plate passage speed in cold-rolling is large or a steel strip temperature is high.SOLUTION: A wiper device for a cold-rolled steel strip is installed on a cold rolling machine (14) for cold-rolling of a steel strip (12), and has a contact pad (16) which is brought into contact with the steel strip (12) which travels in the state that a water-soluble rolling oil adheres thereto, thereby removing the water-soluble rolling oil from the steel strip (12). The contact pad (16) is formed from a foam rubber. Here, it is preferable that this foam rubber has a closed-cell structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
