Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision avoidance assist device that can suppress an execution of unnecessary collision avoidance assist processing.SOLUTION: A collision avoidance assist device (1) comprises: a target detection unit (11) that detects targets; a processing execution unit (15) that, when determining that the target satisfies execution conditions, executes collision avoidance assist processing; an image recognition unit (19) that recognizes the target in the image; a position P acquisition unit (21) that acquires a position P in a vertical direction of the target; a size RS estimation unit (23) that estimates a real size RS of the target; and an execution condition setting unit (25) that, when conditions J1 and J2 are satisfied, or conditions J3 and J4 are satisfied, sets the execution condition more severe than when conditions except for the conditions J1 to J4 are satisfied, where J1: the position P is located below a range α in the image, J2: the size RS is smaller than a range β, J3: the position P is located above the range α in the image, and J4: the size RS is larger than the range β.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
