PURPOSE: To form an extremely short mixing channel with a small pressure loss, by arranging a plurality of vortex generators side by side, by having the height of the vortex generators to be a predetermined rate of the height of the channel through which the flow passes, or of that part of the channel that is assigned to the vortex generators, and by introducing a secondary flow into the channel in the immediate vicinity of the vortex generators.
CONSTITUTION: A primary flow is guided through vortex generators 9, and a plurality of vortex generators 9 are arranged without an intermediate chamber. The height of the vortex generators 9 is at least 50% of the height of the channel through which the flow passes, or of the part of the channel that is assigned to the vortex operators. Furthermore, the vortex generators 9 which are circumferentially continuous are slightly shifted mutually to form a location that is necessary for a lance 24. The partial blow of a secondary flow is done on the side of the vortex generator 9 through a wall opening. The supply of gas is done through a gas pipe 25 that extends in the longitudinal direction of a wall. When the coefficient of a pressure failure is 3, fine mixing is achieved after about 3 times the height of the channel, and ignition is done at the location where vortices have vanished.
