PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator including a resin molding body which has a new anti-centrifugal force structure by giving a new structure for integrally holding with the resin molding body to the outer periphery portion of a commutator piece.SOLUTION: A commutator 210 includes: a commutator piece 230; and a resin molding body 240. The commutator 210 has plural commutator pieces 230 extending along the shaft center which are positioned with a predetermined gap in a circumferential direction around the shaft center 220 and each of which is held by the resin molding body 240. The resin molding body 240 is formed of a resin having insulation property. For example, a thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin and a phenol resin is employed. The commutator 210 has plural slit portions 250 each of which is positioned between neighboring plural commutator pieces 230.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
