Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more compact seating arrangement.SOLUTION: A compact seating arrangement for a vehicle comprises two rear passenger seats (3, 4) and a driver seat (2). The driver seat is positioned in front of the rear passenger seats. The three seats can take a plurality of configurations: (i) a three-seat configuration with a storage space behind the rear passenger seats; (ii) a two-seat configuration with one of the rear passenger seats folded down to extend the storage space; and (iii) a one-seat configuration with both of the rear passenger seats folded down to further extend the storage space.
