Abstract:
To provide a pivot arbor that has limited sensitivity to a magnetic field and improved wear resistance, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a pivot arbor having a metal pivot (3) at each end. In order to limit sensitivity to a magnetic field, the metal is a nonmagnetic copper alloy. At least an outer surface (5) of one of two pivots (3) is deep cured to a predetermined depth with respect to a remaining section of the arbor and cures the pivot (3).
