Abstract:
To provide a composite member for a vehicle, which can improve quality by eliminating variation in a parting position appearing on a design surface side of a product, and is useful to further improve a yield, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A composite member that comprises: a base material 7 in which a porous sheet material 5 is three-dimensionally shaped, a flange portion 76 extending curving from a peripheral edge portion of a lid main portion 71 that maintains a porous structure to form a lid top surface 71a toward a lid inner surface 71b, and the flange portion 76 stands upright with respect to the lid main portion 71; and a resin frame 81 integrally formed with the base material 7 in which an impregnated and hardened portion 812 of a resin raw material g is formed in the flange portion 76 to surround a periphery of the lid main portion 71 into a frame shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
