Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance further a joining effect in joining to another molding.SOLUTION: A composite molding 1 includes a groove-provided resin molding 10 having a groove 12 in which a fibrous inorganic filler 11 is exposed from a side surface in a protruded form and another molding 20 having convex parts in contact with the groove 12, and the convex parts are caulked by the groove 12. The composite molding 1 is produced by a method including a groove formation step of removing a part of the resin from the resin molding containing a fibrous inorganic filler to form a groove in which the fibrous inorganic filler is exposed from the side surface in a protruded form so as to obtain a groove-provided resin molding, an unhardened material supply step of arranging an unhardened material in the groove at a temperature equal to or higher than the thermal deformation temperature of the resin, and a hardening step of hardening the unhardened material.
