Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite woody material capable of being finished in a beautiful appearance and being efficiently and economically produced and having excellent workability of a side face.
SOLUTION: The composite woody material 1 comprises a bar-like core material 4 made of a veneer laminated material between a front surface material 2 and a rear surface material 3 made of intermediate quality fibrous boards in such a manner that the material 4 is fixedly contacted at end faces 41a, 41b of respective veneers 41 with the material 2 and the material 3. In this case, the material 1 has a long longitudinal shape. Side face materials 4 each made of the intermediate quality fibrous board are fixed to at least one side face of both the side faces along a longitudinal direction. The materials 4 are adhered at their one end faces to a lower surface of the material 2, and fixedly adhered at the other end faces to an upper surface of the material 3.
