Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colorless and transparent lens having high refractive index, high heat resistance, low dispersion and lightweight, excellent in weather, impact and heat resistances, low in hygroscopicity and excellent in surface hardness.
SOLUTION: A composition comprising (a) a component containing 1, 3- dithiolane-4, 5-diisocyanate and (b) a component containing at least one kind of 2, 2-bis(mercaptomethyl)-1, 3-propanediol, 1, 2, 4-tris(mercaptomethyl)benzene, and 1, 2-bis[(2mercaptoethyl)thio]-3-mercaptopropane is polymerized to give a lens.
