Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition featured in that it exhibits viscosity and plasticity similar to those of clay in a wet state and that it, when converted into a dry state, does not get brittle, is lightweight, exhibits high strength and does not return to the original wet state, and to provide a molded article manufactured by using the same, and further to obtain a composition which generates a minus ion good for the human body and is excellent in fire resistance, and the like, and to provide a molded article therefrom.
SOLUTION: The compositions of this invention comprise a powder, obtained by drying and subsequently crushing a plant material, and a biodegradable resin. The compositions comprise a neutral liquid obtained by admixing and reacting a solution obtained by diluting with water an alkaline liquid produced by reacting together potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, metal silicon and water with a solution obtained by mixing together water, borax, boric acid and phosphoric acid, and comprise also a powder obtained by crushing a shell. The molded articles are manufactured by using the compositions.
