To prevent partial loading and wear by constituting a compressor so as to support a crankshaft by a main bearing part and an auxiliary bearing part across an electric motor to normally apply thrust load to the side opposite to a compressing mechanism part of this crankshaft and to provide an auxiliary bearing part with an auxiliary bearing bush having a self-aligning function.
An auxiliary shaft 6b of a small diameter is successively provided at a tip part of a crankshaft 6 to be revolved integrally with a rotor 5 of an electric motor 3, and this auxiliary shaft 6b is freely rotatably supported by an auxiliary bearing part 21 constituted of a flat auxiliary bearing bush 17 having a self-aligning function, a semi-spherical holding device 18 receiving this bush 17 and a holder 19 which screws the holder 18 and is fixed to a sealing container 1. A stator 4 and a rotor 5 of the electric motor 3 are fixed to the sealing container 1 at a location where the side of the stator 4 is shifted to the side of the auxiliary bearing part 21 of the rotor 5 by a prescribed distance. As a result, thrust load is normally applied to the side of the auxiliary bearing part 21 with respect to the crankshaft 6 by magnetic force of the stator 4 and the rotor 5 and deviated wear is prevented.
