Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concerned region setting device for respiration monitoring capable of setting ROI automatically.
SOLUTION: An absolute value of a difference per frame of a plurality of frame picture images which are obtained by a CCD camera and are photographed over a half cycle of respiration is obtained, and these difference picture images are integrated and stored. A position and a size of a fluctuation region are obtained based on the integrated and stored change information. The region extending from the largest region to small region sequentially among these fluctuation regions is set as a temporary region to judge whether at least concentration value histogram showing the distribution of the number of picture elements per concentration value indicates two peak property having a height above a set value and a fluctuation region area value is above a predetermined value or not, and the temporary region is set as ROI 10 when these conditions are satisfied.
