Abstract:

To protect an enlarged diameter portion of a shield member which is composed of a braided wire and surrounded with a corrugated tube, and whose end is protruded from the corrugated tube to be enlarged in the diameter.

The enlarged diameter portion 35a of the shield member 35 is surely protected by being covered with a cover 50. Since the cover 50 is made of rubber and elastically deformable, when a shield shell 40 and the enlarged diameter portion 35a of the shield member 35 are temporarily moved to the corrugated tube 36 side in such a case that an electric wire-side terminal 25 is inserted into a shield case 11, it is unnecessary to remove the cover 50 from the enlarged diameter portion 35a. Moreover, since the cover 50 is made of rubber, it can also deal with the case the electric wire 20 and enlarged diameter portion 35a are bent at a small radius of curvature.
