Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform broadcasting with high efficiency by setting a data path between corresponding communication ports so as to transfer broadcasting data to address cells after switching the data paths in those cells via a switch circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a cell 10A performs broadcasting to both cells 10B and 10D, a processor 15 of the cell 10A controls a switch circuit 14 and informs a broadcasting reception request to the cell 10B. Then the broadcasting data addressed to cells 10B and 10D are transferred to the cell 10B from a communication port 12r. The processor 15 that recognized said broadcasting reception request gives the broadcasting reception request to a cell 10D and at the same time controls the circuit 14 to set a data path between communication ports 12l and 12d. Then the processor 15 receives and fetches the broadcast data in its own cell from the cell 10A and also transfers this data to the cell 10d. In the same way, a processor 15 of the cell 10D receives and fetches the broadcast data from the cell 10B to complete a broadcasting action.
