To provide a connection method and structure between an electric wire and a connection terminal for maintaining good conductivity without causing corrosion and for complying with a continuous automated production line.
A connection structure 21 between an electric wire and a connection terminal is formed by plating, depositing, sticking or the like of a metal film 29 rich in extendability on a conductor crimping part 24 inside face in a crimp terminal 22. A core wire part M peeled and extended axially from the end part of a coated electric wire W is crimped and connected in a conductor crimping part 24 in the crimp terminal 22 rear part, and then, the metal film 29 is melted. Therefore, the metal film 29 rich in extendability enters between the conductor crimping part 24 inside face and the core wire part M and between the adjacent core wire parts M, M because of crimping stress, so that a contact area between the conductor crimping part 24 and the core wire part M is increased via the metal film 29, and consequently, conductivity is improved and heat generation can be suppressed.
