Title:
CONNECTION SYSTEM OF VOICE MAIL TO INTERRUPTION FROM THIRD PERSON IN CALL WAITING SERVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0832685
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the connection system of a voice mail capable of recording a message from the subscriber of a telephone set C by connecting the voice mail by hooking when the telephone set C calls a telephone set A in the state of speaking between the telephone sets A and B.

CONSTITUTION: When a call incomes to the telephone set A from the telephone set C and when the telephone set A subscribes for a conventional call waiting service, the telephone set A hears a under-speaking call-incoming signal. The single hooking operation of the telephone set A as in the conventional manner at this time turns the telephone sets A and C into a speaking state and the telephone set B into a holding state but in the case when the subscriber of the telephone set A does not want to cut the speech with the telephone set B at this time, the subscriber hooks twice consecutively at the time of hearing the call waiting service signal. At the time of detecting the hooking, an exchange 1 connects the telephone set C to the voice mail 2 so as to record the message of the subscriber of the telephone set C in a recording area assigned to the telephone set A within the voice male 2.
