Abstract:

To inexpensively provide a connector for optical communication by providing a pin sleeve 1 with a detaining part for preventing rotation by rotary working.

This connector consists of a coupler 5 and the pin sleeve 1 inserted with one end part to the coupler 5. The pin sleeve 1 is provided with the detaining part 2 at its one end. The detaining part 2 has a dislodgment preventive part 4 for the pin sleeve 1 and a co-rotation preventive part 3 offcentered from the center P of the pin sleeve 1. At least the co-rotation preventive part 3 and the dislodgment preventive part 4 are inserted alternately to the coupler 5. The co-rotation preventive part 3 is a hollow groove 13 and penetrates deeper into the pin sleeve 1 from its outer peripheral surface 1a and is offcentered from the center of the pin sleeve 1, thereby forming a ring.
