PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of a signal noise, in a connector provided in the course of a main line twist pair wire to branch and connect a branch line twist pair wire through a pair of pressure contact terminals, by extending the distance laid along a bulkhead support part between the pressure contact terminals.
CONSTITUTION: A bulkhead support part 23 for pressing and supporting the opening end sides (one-side end side) of a pair of U-shaped pressure contact terminals 29, 30 and isolating them is integrally protruded on the center part of the housing 20 of a connector. Side wall support parts 25, 26 for pressing and supporting the other end parts of the pressure contact terminals 29, 30 are protruded on both sides of the bulkhead support part 23 of the housing 20. The height of the bulkhead support part 23 is set higher than the height of the pressed first and second pressure contact terminals 29, 30, whereby the distance laid along the bulkhead support part 23 between the pressure contact terminals 29, 30 is extended, while the height of the side wall support parts 25, 26 is set lower than the height of the pressure contact terminals 29, 30.
