Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact failure detector of magnetic contactor capable of detecting in which magnetic contactor a problem is occurring, inexpensively and easily, upon occurrence of a problem in an on-load tap changing transformer.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay 14 is provided between a magnetic contactor 13 and a motor 12 in the motor operation mechanism of an on-load tap changing device, and operates an application voltage to the motor 12 goes above a prescribed voltage, a timer relay 15 operates after a prescribed time limit when the magnetic contactor 13 operates but the electromagnetic relay 14 does not operate, and a fault indicator 16 indicates and outputs imperfect contact of the magnetic contactor when the timer relay 15 operates. The electromagnetic relay 14, the timer relay 15 and the fault indicator 16 are provided in the motor operation mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
