Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a container having a pearllike glossy appearance and a sense of high quality by a method wherein a sheet is made of a composite resin material in which dicyclopentadien type petroleum resin and crystalline polypropylene are combined at a specified ratio and sheet-formed into the container.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet made of a specified composite resin material is sheet- formed into a container, so that the container has a pearllike glossy appearance and a sense of high quality. The specified composite resin material of which the sheet is composed of 5-60 pts.wt. dicyclopentadien type petroleum resin having a softening point (ring and ball method) of 160°C or higher and 100 pts.wt. crystalline polypropylene. On the other hand, polypropylene resin without addition of petroleum resin is laminated on a side or both sides of a core layer made of the composite resin material to form a multiple-ply laminated sheet and the multi-ply laminated sheet can be sheet-formed to obtain a container having a pearllike glossy appearance.
