The continuous heating muffle furnace includes: a plurality of gas burners 4a, 5a, 6a arranged outside the muffle 8 to heat a workpiece W; and electric heaters 4b, 5b, 6b arranged outside the muffle 8 to keep the muffle 8 hot.
