Abstract:

To provide a reliable method for continuously wrapping articles and makes it possible to reduce size and the cost.

An article 3 together with a sheet 5 for wrapping partly folded around the article is carried continuously along the 1st track P3 extending in the 1st direction 73 where an instantaneous tangent T changes along the 1st passage P3. A folding tool 58 is moved continuously and periodically along the 2nd closed track P4 and by collaborating the sheet with the folding tool at each cycle completes sheet folding operation. The folding tool completes the folding operation collaborating with the sheet by moving the folding tool to the 2nd direction 72 crossing the 1st direction and by giving the folding tool the motion element to the 1st direction, as the sheet and the article continuously move along the middle part of the 1st track.
