Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which is hardly influenced by a variation of an output voltage of a sensor, and easy in the detection of an abnormal sensor, in the control device 20 of a shift position detection device 60 composed of at least four pieces sensors 64, 64, 66 and 68.SOLUTION: In all shift positions Psh, a detection value D for discriminating an output voltage of a sensor group P1 composed of two pieces of sensors, and an output voltage of a sensor group P2 composed of remaining two pieces sensors is set, it is determined that an abnormality exists when the output voltage of the sensor in the same group has an output voltage which is divided into a high output voltage and a low output voltage with respect to the determination value D, and then, the sensor having the output voltage at the same side as that of the remaining group with respect to the determination value D is specified as abnormal, thus detecting an abnormal sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
