Abstract:
To switch between a command base model and a user interface export model according to what is processed.
Commands about a plurality of kinds of prints are stored in the nonvolatile memory 35 of a digital still camera 1 and the nonvolatile memory 71 of a printer 50. For the kinds of prints for which both the digital still camera 1 and the printer 50 have commands in common, printing processes are performed using the command base model. For printing processes for which the digital still camera 1 does not have commands, the digital still camera 1 is made to function as a client while the printer 50 is made to function as a server, whereby the printing processes are performed using the user interface export model.
