Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the wear of a brake shoe and efficiently conduct the regeneration of the brake shoe by suppressing unnecessary action of an air brake.
SOLUTION: A controller having a device for detecting the running speed of an electric vehicle is provided with a first comparator 1 and a second comparator 2. The first comparator 1 detects the stopped state of the electric vehicle, and the second comparator 2 detects an effective speed range of a regenerative brake. Commands are given simultaneously to a control command logic 7 which makes a power running control, a coasting control, and a regenerative braking control via switches 5, 6 which receive signals from a power running command device 3 and a braking command device 4 respectively. At that time, the priority order which has been preliminary determined for the power running control, the coasting control, and the regenerative braking control in a preliminary determined running speed region and either of the switches 5, 6 is selected according to whether the power running command is input or the breaking command is input.
