To provide a control method for a multiple indoor unit type air conditioner preventing condensation water from an indoor unit under outage without impairing comfortableness of a room in operation and a room under outage.
In the multiple indoor unit type air conditioner, an indoor unit has an interior piping temperature detecting means for detecting a piping temperature, a blower, and a cooling operation storing means for storing cooling operation when it is stopped after cooling or dehumidification operation, and an indoor operation mode stores a cooling operation other than heating when another indoor unit is operated in a heating mode. When the interior piping temperature is a predetermined temperature or more, the blower is rotated, and rotation of the blower is stopped when it is the predetermined temperature or less. The multiple indoor unit air conditioner has a blower operation time counting means for counting the time that the blower is rotating, and the blower is operated a predetermined time in total.
