Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a carriage from being kept stopped in a replacement position corresponding to a calling machine at the time when a part cannot be immediately replaced due to the occurrence of some fault in the calling machine.
CONSTITUTION: This method controls the carriage which is moved between replacement positions corresponding to plural weaving machines respectively and a home station. When a worker depresses a wait push button switch 48 of a control circuit 44 provided in the carriage called by a certain weaving machine after this carriage arrives at the replacement position corresponding to the calling weaving machine, a timer 58 is operated, and the carriage is moved back for the time given by this timer. Thus, the carriage is temporarily moved from the replacement position to another position and waits.
