Abstract:

To provide a starting thrust in idling state by detecting and controlling engine speed and flywheel torque by use of industrial standard data ring, and controlling the connecting state of a master clutch.

This vehicle mechanical automatic transmission system (transmission system) 10 is provided with a fuel control engine 12, a wet master friction clutch 14 and a multi-speed mechanical transmission 16. The transmission system 10 stabilizes the engine speed to the idling speed when the connection of the clutch 14 is released by use of the instruction and feedback through a data ring. It successively stabilizes the engine again at the idling speed until the clutch 14 is gradually connected and the gross engine torque reaches the sum of the parasitic torque (friction and incidental torque) and a selected idling torque. The flywheel torque and the torque transmission quantity of the clutch 14 at this point of time are each equal to a desired idling torque drive.
