Abstract:

To provide a control robot travelable in any direction, configured so that the traveling direction can be freely controlled by providing a drive wheel and a steering wheel provided on a robot body, and controlling the steering wheel being controlled by a cam mechanism.

The control robot includes: the drive wheel 11 provided on a first rotation output shaft 7 of the robot body 1 and the steering wheel 14; a rack-pinion mechanism 12 provided on the robot body 1 and driven by rotation from a second rotation output shaft 8; a cam holder 28 linearly moved by the rack-pinion mechanism 12; one or two or more cam pieces 32 provided on the cam holder 28 and forming two or more kinds of cam shapes along the longitudinal direction of the cam holder; a cam follower 26 linearly moved in a direction orthogonal to the linearly moving direction of the cam holder 28, following a cam surface of the cam pieces 32; and a steering force transmission mechanism which transmits the linear motion of the cam follower 26 to the steering wheel 14, and steers the steering wheel 14 according to the cam shape of the cam pieces 32 to control the traveling direction of the robot body 1.
