The traction vehicle is provided with an electronically operable drive transmission system 20 regarding the control system for the vehicle consisting of the traction vehicle and the trailer. A driver inputs a trailer setting steering angle (ALW-SOLL) through a trailer steering angle setting value sensor 32. A modified traction vehicle setting steering angle (ALW-SOLL') of an axle having the purpose steering the traction vehicle is determined from the actual steering angle (ALW-IST) of the trailer and the trailer setting steering (ALW-SOLL) to simplify the reverse of the vehicle. In the operation state of the reversing device, the reversing device 30 changing the actual steering angle (ALW-IST) of the trailer into the trailer setting steering angle (ALW-SOLL) is provided in processing of a modified movement vector (BV') when the vehicle moves by taking over from the current traction vehicle setting steering angle (ZLW-SOLL) within the modified movement vector (BV').
