To eliminate a bad condition that a door locking state is unitarily unlocked in spite of a high temperature within a rotary drum 1 at the time of interrupting power supply (turning off a power source) by a power source switch in the middle of a drying process and supplying power (turning on a power source) by the power source switch without a time interval since the door locking state is unitarily unlocked in a state before executing a series operation of washing, rinsing, dehydrating and drying in the case of a conventional laundry device.
A control means 44 controlling a series of washing, rinsing, dehydrating and drying to be operated automatically, drives the solenoid 39 to keep the door in the unlocked state when the value of the temperature detected by a temperature detecting means 52 is within a prescribed range set in advance when the power source is supplied by the power source switch 57.
