Abstract:
To provide a controller for machine tool, capable of suppressing an increase in the load of a machine tool caused by vibrating cutting.SOLUTION: A controller 20 for machine tool, which is a controller 20 for machine tool having a plurality of feed shafts M1, M2 feeding a tool 11 to machine a workpiece W while vibrating the tool 11, includes: a vibration command preparing section 23 for preparing a vibration command on the basis of a machining condition; a control section 26 for machining a workpiece W while vibrating a tool 11 on the basis of a vibration command and a movement command. When the machining condition shows machining by an interpolation function of one feed shaft M1 of the plurality of feed shafts M1, M2, the vibration command preparing section 23 prepares a vibration command to vibrate the tool 11 in a direction running along a machining path and when the machining condition shows machining by a simultaneous interpolation function of the plurality of feed shafts M1, M2, changes the vibration command to change a vibratory direction relative to the machining path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
