Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle provided with an engine having an automatic stopping and starting function and an automatic transmission from moving rearwards when the engine is restarted in an ascending-sloped road, without increasing a cost.
SOLUTION: Supplied oil pressures to the first hydraulic friction element 24 input directly with drivng force of the engine having the automatic stopping and starting function, and the second hydraulic friction element 23 cooperated with a one-way clutch 25 by engagement to form an interlock condition are controlled by a control means, and the first element 24 is brought into a pressure released condition and the oil pressure is supplied to the second element 23, when the engine restart is started.
