Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversation device which enables a person to have a talk with an electronic stuffed animal, a pet robot, or the like by once translating their words which the person cannot understand by means of a translation device. SOLUTION: The conversation device is provided with an output device 3 and a translation device 5. The output device 3 recognizes an inputted sound, reads and encodes response information corresponding to the recognized sound from a ROM21, and then generates the encoded information. The translation device 5 receives and decodes the encoded information, and then displays decoded contents on a liquid crystal display 67.
