To propose a conveyance apparatus using a traveling body for conveyance, which is utilizable in both a chain conveyor-driven section and a screw-driven section.
The conveyance apparatus uses the traveling body 1 for conveyance which includes: a driven roller 20a engaged with a screw shaft 37; and a member 5a engaged with a pusher 47 of a chain conveyor 38. The member 5a to be engaged is projected to below at least one of two trolleys 5, 6 arranged before and behind the traveling body 1 for conveyance. A driven roller supporting member 24a is arranged on a support base 3 which is used for supporting an object to be conveyed and supported by the two trolleys 5, 6 via vertical column supports 23a, 23b where the driven roller supporting member comprises an upper column support 60 which is projected downward on a back-and-forth direction centerline passing the vertical column supports and a lower end arm 61. The driven roller 20a engaged with the screw shaft 37 in the screw-driven section is journaled by the lower end arm 61 at a position upper than the lateral position of a load bar 4 for connecting the two trolleys 5, 6 to each other.
