This conveying device includes a roller conveyor in which a large number of rollers 2, 2a... are arranged in parallel and which is linked to a drive means 3 to rotate the rollers 2, 2a... in a same direction. The rollers 2, 2a... of the roller conveyor are formed in a rectangular column shape with a square cross section. The adjacent rollers 2, 2a... are set to rotate while the phases thereof are different 45° from each other.
